North Rocks Carols By Candlelight

North Rocks Carols by Candlelight has run by our church since 2004 as a way of helping our local community celebrate Christmas and experience the spirit of Christmas joy.  We moved to a new location – the soccer fields at North Rocks Park (near Don Moore Community Centre).  This has allowed the event to grow to more than 1000 people.

This year we have a great line-up of activities, items and carol singing for you to enjoy.

From 5pm there will be for the kids a Jumping Castles (under 12’s only), a Farm Petting Zoo, face painting and many more activities.  We will also have a number of great food stalls for you to enjoy.  (The profits from these stalls helps us cover the costs of the staging the carols!)  We will also have a number of local groups providing entertainment including Carlingford School of Dance.   

The from 7:30pm we will launch into our carols program – lead by the amazing musicians of our church band.  We will provide song sheets and there will be candles for sale because we have an emphasis of getting everyone involved with the singing and celebrating Christmas.  Add to that a special visit from Santa and it is a great night.  The night concludes by 9pm.
